Tammy Sue Blair

September 11, 1965 ~ April 5, 2024 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Tribute

Tammy Sue Blair, age 58, of Pittsfield passed away April 5, 2024.
Born on September 11, 1965 in Albion, Michigan, she was a daughter of Sue Zuehlke and Burns Blair.
Tammy is survived by her mother Sue, her daughter, Asia Roberts (Ryan), her son, Henry Rojas (Lauren), her beloved grandchildren, Deakan, Darrius, Jesse Jr., Isabell, Maddicyn and Harmonii, and her brother Timothy Blair. She was predeceased by her father, her paternal grandparents Mamaw and Papaw Blair and her maternal grandparents Mama and Papa.
Tammy loved being a mother and loved being a Mamaw even more. She took great pride in raising her family and loved and cherished second she spent with them. Tammy’s entire life was about the kids. She would open her home to the entire neighborhood and still be looking to share her love with more. Sleepovers at Mamaw’s house were extravagant and fun.
Tammy’s ability to nurture extended to her extensive houseplant collection and the many animals she loved and cared for over the years. Her plants were more than a hobby and she loved decorating her home and making it into a comfortable and safe place for anyone (or any animal) that needed somewhere to go.
Tammy was the first person to be up for an adventure; trips to the store, a 10-hour road trip and everything in between excited her. She loved camping and spending time on Onota lake.
She was over the top in all she did. Tammy lived the “look-good feel-good” life motto. However, her beauty extended beyond her looks; she had a beautiful soul and shared all she could with the ones she loved. She was always proud to show her accessories and her achievements.
A true child of the 60s, Tammy loved Rock & Roll. Her favorites included Aerosmith and Guns and Roses, and she especially loved Robert Plant. She knew how to have fun.
A celebration of Tammy’s life will be May 18, 2024 beginning at 2PM at Onota Lake. Please gather on the ramp side - Closest to the plastic dock- at the beginning of the trail.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tammy’s memory may be made to “NAMI of Berkshire County” to help to help people and families in our community that are affected by mental illness improve their lives through education, support, and advocacy.
